Meeting on Water and and Marine Park Resources in Loreto

Resumen (complete summary here) On the 5th of June, Pro Peninsula, together with Grupo Ecologista Antares and the Municipality of  Loreto held a meeting focused on water and the natural resoures in the municipality and the adjacent Marine Park. The themes of the presentations ranged from the capacity and infrastructure of fresh water in Loreto, best practices for desalinization, and potential impacts on marine resource in Loreto Bay Marine Park.

The meeting was attented by a diverse group including citizens of Loreto, developers, local government representatives, academics, foreign residents, and community and NGO leaders from La Paz and Loreto.
