When considering Baja California, most people don't think of pine forests and winter snowstorms. That's just what you may find at San Pedro Martir which in 1947 joined Mexico's national park system. The highest peak in the park reaches 3100 m (10,153 ft). The park is home to lodgepole, Jeffrey and Parry pines, and a host of flaura and fauna unlike anywhere else on the peninsula. US logging interests have become increasingly active in the park. Click here to learn more about this beautiful natural landscape.
