Okay, so it’s only a few miles south, but we’re going! As Pro Peninsula’s programs continue to grow so has our need for space! So we packed up and moved on Friday, May 2nd to the Art Center Building in Downtown San Diego. It’s a large, unique space with incredible natural sunlight that will allow us to grow and continue to protect our environment in new ways… no need to turn on those ‘ol lights! Pro Peninsula welcomes Chelsea, our new organizational intern from High Tech High! In the past, High Tech High has provided Pro Peninsula with many interns, each of whom has brought something truly special to the organization.

For the next two months Chelsea will focus her efforts on supporting our outreach and communications efforts as well as assisting with the Ocean Connectors education program. Her primary project will involve integrating Pro Peninsula into new online media outlets, so keep your eyes peeled as Pro Peninsula begins to emerge in many of your favorite online social networks!
