About the Festival
The Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival is the Nation’s largest film festival of its kind and provides inspiring and educational films that aim to increase the groundswell of environmental interest and motivate people to go out and make a difference in our community and around the world. The chosen films highlight environmental concerns and provide solutions, reaching people through beautiful imagery of the sweeping landscapes of the world-inspiring local individuals to get involved in conserving the wild and scenic places close to home. Each evening will begin at 6:00pm for a pre-social hour, including a silent auction, raffle, community fair, and $5 wine and $3 Sierra Nevada Beer. We will begin exhibiting the films at 7:00pm sharp, with a brief intermission in between, and finalize the event at 9:30pm.
Tickets start at $15 for General Admission, however the exquisite offer of this event is our VIP Ticket, going for $30 (when its value is over $75). VIP Tickets include: a general admission ticket, membership to propeninsula, pro peninsula t-shirt, and VIP Party invite (below). Additionally, on Wednesday March 23rd 6:00-8:30PM, VIP guests, Pro Peninsula members, sponsors and local nonprofit groups, are invited to a meet and greet celebration at Point Loma Outfitting, one of our primary event sponsor. This event will include cocktails, ordeuvres, music, and a unique opportunity to speak to film directors from the film festival. We hope to see you there!
